After working on it since last April I finally got a field approval to install Electroair's EIS-41000 electronic ignition system on my 170B with a Lycoming engine. This system is approved on all Cessna 152,172,175 & 177 aircraft with a Lycoming engine except for the 150 & 170 on STC SA02987CH. The EIS-41000 system replaces the R/H mag.
